If you are in the Charlotte NC region and you like old iron, you really should check out Warbirds over Monroe THIS WEEKEND Nov 9-10. It was a terrific show last year of WW2 era airplanes, biplanes and trainers. Show up before noon so you don’t miss any of the flight show and plan to stay until it ends at 4pm.

Oh, man, I would love to go to that. Love me some old warbirds.

I load up all the TX airshows in my calendar every year , then watch them slide by one weekend after another as my time is taken up with gigs, marching band competitions, etc. The last show I attended was this past spring in Temple. A small show, but with a good turnout of props. Only one jet, and that was a MiG 17 (and one little micro jet, but that doesn’t really count). You can see my shots of that show here .

Also, get that sensor cleaned!

Eh, that’s what Photoshop is for. I also use it to erase heads and feet behind the static displays.

Dude. I'm in Marshville! Small world! Not sure will make it this year. But have in the past. Hell of a show!
